Elegantly styled ST Dupont Olympio Pen manufactured in France finished in hand applied natural Chinese lacquer having the authentic lacquer hallmark seen at the base of the cap. The lacquer being a slightly iridescent black. Ink filling is by converter piston method if preferred the converter can easily be removed and an ink cartridge fitted. Engraved along the side of the pocket clip is ST Dupont identification serial number. The superb two tone 18 carat gold ornately engraved nib has a medium italic point. New unused in its presentation case with the accompanying booklet giving explicit details about the manufacturing process and the care of this exquisite fountain pen. ST Dupont began making fountain pens in 1973 using their expertise in the artistic technique of applying this natural Chinese lacquer.
