MARLEN REMBRANDT NUMBERED EDITION PEN .
Rembrandt was born on July 15, 1606 in Leiden, Netherland. He was apprenticed young to a Leiden master painter, and then his fame as a painter grew steadily, mainly for portraits. Like no other artist, Rembrandt managed to capture light and shadows in paint. In addition, his drawings and etchings are unequalled. Unfortunately, his unorthodox way of life and his huge passion for collecting art objects caused his bankrupt in 1656, and his house and collections were auctioned off. Rembrandt died on October 4, 1669. Four days later he was buried in an obscure rented grave of the Westerkerk Church.
