MARLEN BASILEA During the Medieval Age, Basel hosted an official Trade Fair (1471), and in 1459 the city established its own University. By 1433, the paper mill industry had its beginnings, and as a consequence, many printers and humanists became residents of Basel. For all of the above, Marlen wanted to pay homage to the city with this beautiful collection. The Basilea is a numbered edition, made in red cellulose acetate and black acrylic resin with sterling silver trims and an 18kt gold nib. It is available in a piston filled fountain pen, roller ball, and ball point, along with a 5.6mm sketch pencil. |
