19th century, when Simon Tissot-Dupont was commissioned to make luxury
traveling cases, -beautifully crafted pieces of luggage signed with a
name that was quickly to become a brand synonymous with the highest
quality-. They established their pen reputation in the
1970s with luxury pieces made from precious metals and some of the
finest Chinese lacquer work in the world.
