The choice of fine leathers used for Mignon products is rigorous. The
hides are carefully selected from farms in Italy and France. The
standards for selecting and tanning this leather are very exacting,
so only a limited amount is produced every year. Artisans use an
age-old process that results in a naturally marked finish, making
each product unique. The calfskin is smooth and supple; kidskin is
petal soft. Each product is made in the tradition of the finest
Parisian leather-crafters. Every color is hand-made, carefully
stitched, and finely polished. They are sturdy, light and beautiful.
