Using the innovative and exclusive Laminata™ process, specially formulated, liquid acrylic resins are poured layer-by-layer. When the layers have cured, the Laminata™ acrylic slab is hand-cut, hand-lathed, and hand-polished to a beautiful luster. The time-consuming technique produces fascinating finishes. The Desert Sand has soft, muted bands in natural colors of grey, tan and amber and features a fountain pen with iridium nib, twist ball pen or roller ball fitted with Monteverde’s patented Perma Seal™ cap so you can interchange the refill to a fine liner or the exclusive RPM permanent marker refill that will write on almost any surface. Fountain pen uses cartridges or converter.
