Giuliano's grandfather owned a mechanical workshop in the village, where he constructed bicycles  It was a successful business in those years, but with the advent of the motorcycle to the hills of the Chianti, the workshop ceased to exist. Some time later, in his early years as a child, he remembered coming across a dusty old wooden box, finding inside the strangest shiny instruments. For the following years he kept this box hidden as his treasure.

 in November,  visiting a modern mechanical workshop. He found exactly these tools. He felt he wanted to make them known to all, not just for workshop, and not as mechanical tools.
