Pelikan assembles each Pelikan Stresemann fountain pen by hand and checks them to fulfill the strictest quality. The cellulose acetate barrel with the anthracite stripes, uses a process that‘s work-intensive. The palladium plated clip and the rings gives this pen an extra edge. The completely rhodium-plated gold nib makes it shine.
Pelikan Stresemann Fountain Pen.
As foreign minister of the Weimar Republic, and honored with the Peace Nobel Prize in 1926, Gustav Stresemann (1879- 1929) , got the recognition of his work among the nations after World War I. He also became known for his pinstriped suits that were formal for official functions and for work at the office. His pinstriped suits became legendary… and as a result, people start naming the striped fountain pens from Pelikan ‘Stresemann’. Both the suits and the pens carry that name to this day.
