The Pilot Explorer Fountain Pen is one of their newest offerings in the world of entry-level fountain pens. Because of Its metallic resin construction.
Furthermore, the metallic resin on the Explorer is quite lovely. There is some excellent depth and shine to the material, which comes through nicely in person too. The main decoration on the pen is in the form of circular matte black ridges with black spots showing on the top of the pen cap and head of the lid.

This Pilot pen also adds some visual flair to an otherwise straightforward pen. Another interesting design element is the multi-layered cap. Likewise, the circular window in line with the Pilot logo adds some depth and visual decorative intrigue.
