The filling mechanism is unique. Push to extract the piston knob, turn the piston knob to fill the pen, then push the button again. This fountain pen has a “hyperflex” 14 kt. Rose gold nib. That flexes creating that ribbon-like line so looked for in calligraphy. Each pen also comes with a Pineider Pen Filler for ease of re-filling. Pineider limits the manufacture of the Mystery Filler to only 888 pieces.
Following the world trend for flexible nibs, The Mystery Filler comes with a “hyperflex” nib very flexible and with a good recovery memory. The idea was to create a nib for daily writing but with a calligraphic capability. We think that they succeeded. The writing pleasure that this pen generates is high. Additionally, anyone can use this pen, even beginners. The pen and the nib should behave as the extension of the hand and has to respond to slight changes of pressure varying the width of your lines. This pen accomplishes this.
The Mystery Filler is available in two versions, Black Russian and Sugar white. Indulge yourself and also gratify that friend or loved one with a Mystery Filler pen and you can be sure that she or he will remember you for many years to come!
